How to find a Request

There are many ways of searching a request, and these methods can be used in any of the pages (e.g. quotes, sales, or deleted requests).

On the top left hand side of any of the pages, there are some boxes. Firstly the Filter box; this is basically a category list, which you can select from and only items that apply to that category will be displayed.

Secondly, there is Request Ref box, which you will see has "CP" already inserted, so you just need to type the numeric part of the request reference number, and if one is found by that, it will pop up below.

Thirdly, the Part Details box can be used to search for any of the information about the actual items that have been requested. For example, typing in "door" will show any request item information that contains that word, including the category itself, or any additional information typed in by the customer.

Fourthly, the Address box can be used to search ANY of the customer's details, ranging from their name, to their country or even phone number.

Finally, the Filter button at the bottom; if you have set any filters in your personal preferences, this button can be clicked to view the page you are on, with those particular filters applied.

And if prefer not to use the search facilities on the left, you can navigate through the requests with the navigation buttons in the center, or view the requests by date using the calendar on the right (do note however that these two methods can be used together along with ANY of the search facilities, i.e. you can search for a customers details WITHIN a page and even a date).
